Gayla Baer-Taylor and Marijke Vroomen-Durning originally founded GadaboutMedia in 2009. After a few growing pains, GadaboutMedia settled in on the news source you see today.

Gayla Baer is an experienced Internet professional and social media butterfly.  From an early age, Gayla’s grandmother referred to her as a “Gadabout”. Gayla has worked with many big-name Internet personalities and is now following her own dream.

Gayla’s partner, Marijke Vroomen-Durning is also an experienced Internet professional. While Gayla is in the United States, Marijke is in Canada but luckily, they’re in the same time zone, making communication a bit easier than it could be otherwise. Marijke’s experience lies in blogging and writing, and she has also started and worked on several sites of her own.
