I was watching the Fashion Police and they were discussing this dress last night. They were split and a couple of them loved it, called it true Couture. I understand that point, that it's high fashion that the rest of us don't get, but what is the point of wearing a dress that the public doesn't get? What is the point of walking the Red Carpet, which is the part of the show that is for the fans, wearing a dress that is over our fashion heads?

I've been wanting to do this, but the tie kit from Mahar Dry Goods was sold out or something last year. Now there are directions on a blog and I can do it for free...Casually sneaks into someone else's closet to swipe ties. (Actually, I bought a few with cool patterns from Goodwill the other year to do something with and I still have some pieces, so no wardrobes will be harmed in the making of these eggs.)

I totally missed the dress that Hilary Swank wore. I saw that you mentioned it. I think when I go back and look again, Maggie Gyllenhaal's dress is my favorite. It's beautiful, colorful, and it looks like she could actually move around in it.

Kristen Stewart's dress was beautiful. I liked Miley's too. It's young and fun.

I liked Jennifer Lopez's dress, but I think the side piece should have been made from something sheer. The material they used made it look like she was dragging around her blankie.

The Vera dress could fit in your Barbie post - an 80s Barbie. Wild dress, but she still looks pretty.

Barbie! I see what you mean. Demi Moore's dress, the bottom is so frou-frou, but that bondange-like top keeps it from being cream-puff-y. I love the middle dress, although I read that some people thought is was too close to the color of her skin. I thought it was lovely. Top dress - it's Barbie all the way, but in a good way. :)

I think Maggie's was one of the best. I think they have certain types they like. I think there should be a straight color list and a colorful best and worst list.
