Is Lindsay Lohan headed for Jail?
We’ve all watched as Lindsay Lohan’s life has been on a rollercoaster, moments when she’s at her highest high and doing great and then suddenly when we see her on her lowest and hitting clubs left and right all in one night. So why should it shock anyone that she’s spiraling down again? It doesn’t, at least not really. Lindsay was a child star of the 80s and as many have discovered those stars went either straight to the partying scene and never left or completely straight and narrow. Linds as her fans like to call her, partied and partied hard, film companies no longer want to bank on her and are turning her down, her father is constantly going after her in the media and now on the social site, Twitter.
This week it was announced by TMZ, that Lindsay will most likely get jail time for her DUI last year when she goes to court on May 20th. Why? The judge gave her a sentence where she had to appear at class once every 7 days and she hasn’t been doing it. She did make it to the school but once out of every 21 days. Here’s what TMZ said:
The school in which Lindsay enrolled is required by state law to inform the court only if the student is MIA for 21 days. So here’s the disconnect: The school has not reported an attendance violation … because Lindsay frequently waited until the 21st day to attend classes. We’ve learned what’s going to come out at Lindsay’s progress hearing on May 20 — that she has habitually violated the judge’s requirement to attend classes at least once every 7 days.
So it seems that while she did go she purposely didn’t do what the judge ordered, which is NEVER a good thing. No news on how much time Lindsay would have to serve if the judge does get upset. But maybe she’ll go into rehab or at least stop drinking for a while. Sometimes it takes jail time in order to get out of a bad situation. What do you think will happen?
