Hooray For Hoops & Yoyo!
During my visit to my local Hallmark Gold Crown store, I discovered the delightful Hoops&Yoyo. Hoops, a pink cat, and Yoyo, a green rabbit, are not only brightly colored, but nearly every collectible comes with a button to press — and beware when you press them, for you’ll be quickly surrounded by audio of fast-talking critters on caffeine!
I was particularly smitten by the Hoops & Yoyo Fortune Tellers gizmo. (hint-hint, hubby!)
For an idea of their amusing hyper chatter, check out the Hoops&Yoyo blog — but not at work! You probably won’t be able to turn the audio off fast enough (the off button can be found right at the top of the blog).

The dynamic duo began in 2001 as Hallmark e-cards and have spawned a number of animated friends — and quite a following. So much so, that there’s a Facebook app for sharing videos and Hoops & Yoyo will be hosting holiday movies every Friday night on the Hallmark Channel — this marks the first collaboration between Hallmark Cards and the Hallmark Channel.
There’s also a free Hoops and Yoyo Christmas paper toy that you can make with (or without) your kids.
