Getting Organized in a Disorganized World
You know, it gets to be spring time and I have fantasies of a dumpster in the front yard and numerous well muscled men with shovels in my home. If they are working with their shirts off so much the better.
If only he had a shovel....

While this fantasy of mine has never happened in full technicolor reality I do create part of it. It is called spring cleaning. And hey, look, it’s almost spring.
Clutter is exhausting. I am totally embarrassed about how my house looks at the moment. After all of the emotional upheaval least fall and winter my house is not just cluttered but downright nasty. Even my bedroom has clothes on the floor, books, papers, magazines, and the tax documents from the last five years.
Welcome to my divorce. Ugh.
Need to get organized has been my mantra for far, far too long. Tomorrow is March first. By March 31 my house will be under control or someone will get hurt.

The assignments will be short, 10 or 15 minutes. I don’t have time to do much either. Hopefully it will all add up and by the end of the month I will be able to tell that I live in a house, not a space that looks like a Walmart after a clearance sale. See ya tomorrow.
