Did you ever wonder how we came to refer to boys as guys? My theory is that some boy named Guy was so popular in Victorian times that everyone was talking about him. Then, they got tired of saying “Guy and his friends were…” and just started saying guys. And a new slangy term was born. (I’m not going to research the origins of the word and ruin my fun. I like my theory!) Anyway, maybe the Guy who signed this sweet vintage Easter greeting was the Guy who started it all. He certainly had good taste in Easter cards!

Am I the only person who tries to figure out the back story of the vintage cards and postcards I find?
